Members of a college football team, with at least two years of strength training experience, were divided into a creatine supplementation (N = 10) and a no-supplements control group (N = 23). The Cr group had been on supplements for periods of three months to four years.

Oral Cr supplementation was not associated with long-term detrimental effects on kidney or liver functions.
