There is no consistent evidence to support a beneficial effect of amino acid supplementation for performance enhancement. There is a possible detrimental effect of excessive supplementation that could influence the health, and therefore the performance, of the user. It is suggested that there is no substitute for hard sound training, a good diet, and a positive attitude for influencing the quality of performance.
