This workshop describes the procedures for using mental imagery for assisting the learning of physical and tactical skills, and performance enhancement imagery. It covers the basic ingredients that are described by research findings, how to plan imagery use as an activity associated with physical training, and the steps that are required to implement correct use of these two forms of sports imagery. Coaches will develop a competency for conducting imagery training sessions with athletes.
