This workshop discusses the common topic of goal-setting in sports. It attempts to separate fact from fiction and to set-out a program of coach and athlete actions that will produce meaningful experiences. The applied goal-setting model that is developed should produce enhanced levels of performance in athletes. How the coach develops the program and what has to be done is described.
Coaches, serious athletes, students of sport, and sports administrators.
