CREATINE EFFECTS ONLY SHOW FOR STRENGTH

Dulacki, K., Kuehl, K., Koehler, S., Elliot, D., & Goldberg, L. (2000). Effects of creatine on body composition, strength, maximal aerobic capacity, cholesterol and gender. Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, 32(5), Supplement abstract 554.

Active men (N = 19) and women (N = 17) were formed into a creatine supplementation group (10 gm/d) or a placebo group. Treatment lasted 56 days.

The following were found:

Implication. Creatine supplementation for 56 days only affected strength variables.
