Form Study Habits. There are some "tricks of the study-trade" that work. Participants in this workshop are advised to follow these activities as a means of ensuring that progress is consistent and successful.
Understand everything. Do not progress from one topic to the next without full understanding. Each topic is a building block of information. Subsequent topics will use the concepts and understanding of developed knowledges to more fully develop understanding and retention of content. If one knowledge block is not clearly understood, there will be a knowledge deficiency that will permeate following topics that, in turn, will inhibit full learning and understanding.
To gain acceptable understanding it may be necessary to replay a spoken presentation. Resist doing all the lectures as a "virtual stream" because information overload and forgetting could very likely occur. The workshop is designed to step you through a large amount of information in meaningful "segments". Each segment should be comprehended before progressing to the next segment.
The downloaded workbook contains spaces below printed headings or statements. For successful completion of this experience, notes should be taken and written below printed lines. This is a simple form of interactive learning and is an integral part of attaining the greatest benefit from this workshop.
